Von den Organisatoren der World Fish Migration Foundation erreicht uns folgende Nachricht (per Newsletter):
„Dear migratory fish friends,
Wow, what a month it’s been! We were overwhelmed by the global community of scientists, educators, students and more that joined in for the Global Swimways Webinar Marathon on May 14th. Over 2,000 people from more than 100 countries tuned in! We could not have done this without the help of our speakers and organizers, and of course all of you for your active participation. Hopefully, this event inspired you to keep fighting for free-flowing rivers and migratory fish. We know it inspired us!
On May 16th, which was the day originally planned for World Fish Migration Day, several celebrations still took place around the world. From new songs submitted to Eurofishion, to online celebrations of spring fish migrations, to drawing contests, May 16th proved to be an excellent kickoff for our new date in October. Already planning an event for October 24th? Please be sure to register your event on our website so we can keep track of all these celebrations and share them. We are getting more and more excited as some are already registering their events!“
