GfI Conference 2023

This year’s conference of the German Ichthyological Society (GfI) took place in Bremen. It was organised by City University of Applied Sciences Bremen, International Degree Programme in Technical and Applied Biology (ISTAB), Fish Ecology Working Group, Prof. Dr. Thomas Klefoth, in cooperation with the German Ichthyological Society (GfI), Prof. Dr. Heiko Brunken.

This year’s main topics were:

• Biology and ecology of the weatherfish Misgurnus fossilis
• Fish fauna of (native) sea coasts and estuaries

Once again, we welcomed numerous guests, listened to exciting presentations and had plenty of space for networking and discussions.
