Getting there

    The Museum Koenig is a 5-minute train ride from Bonn Central Station. Tram lines 16 (towards Bad Godesberg Stadthalle) and 63 (towards Bad Godesberg Stadthalle) depart from underground platform 2, and line 66 (towards Bad Honnef/Ramersdorf/Clemens-August-Str.) departs from underground platform 4a. The trams stop directly in front of the museum at the ‘Museum Koenig’ stop. During the week, there is a connection to the museum every 5-10 minutes and on weekends every 10-15 minutes. A short-distance ticket K can be purchased from Bonn Central Station. The current cost is €2.80 per trip.
  • Parking
    The museum has a small car park in the courtyard, which is used by both visitors and staff. Parking spaces may therefore be limited. In the immediate vicinity of the museum, there are mainly residents’ parking spaces or limited-time parking spaces (2 hours). There are paid car parks on the Museum Mile (approx. 10-15 min walk) and a small free car park under the Reuterbrücke bridge (approx. 5 min walk).
  • Note on parking:
    The gate to the museum car park closes 30 minutes after the museum closes.
