OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATION

The aim of “Fischfauna-Online” (including the GfI-Fish Atlas) is to compile, organise and disseminate fish-related data. Distribution data is compiled in the Fish Species Atlas sub-project. This is done on a purely voluntary basis and in line with the principles of open access and citizen science. Any collaboration or support on this basis is therefore expressly welcome. This can take place in various ways:

  • Registration. As a registered user, you can easily and conveniently enter distribution data directly via a PC interface. You can register by sending an email request to the editorial team.
  • Via Biodiversity Warehouse-Application
  • Sending information. We are always grateful for the submission of distribution data (reliable species identification is required), information relevant to ichthyology, publications (including older ones!) and, in particular, photos for free use.

In line with the open access principle, the data will be marked with the source when published in Fischfauna-Online and made freely available to the general public. Please send submissions to the editorial office.
