A announcement from the Natural History Museum, Vienna (minnow project, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Anja Palandačić) 13.04.26:
Final presentation on the minnow project
Dear project partners and colleagues,
We would like to cordially invite you to our final presentation on the minnow project.
The presentation will take place on
Wednesday, 22 April 2026, at 6.00 pm online
on the Teams platform. You can join via the following link:

During the talk, we will present the results of our project, some of which have recently been published in a scientific journal. The publication “Data collected in a citizen scientist study uncover a new species record of Phoxinus minnow for Austria” is publicly available: https://doi.org/10.1007/s10661-026-15168 and demonstrates how research and citizen science can work together to generate new insights whilst promoting education.
We will also present further analyses due to be published shortly, as well as insights into our future plans.
Please feel free to forward the invitation and flyer, and to share them with your contacts and on social media.
We look forward to seeing many of you there!
Best regards from Vienna,
Anja Palandačić on behalf of the Minnow Team
